Are you coming out?
Zas had been waiting for a while. Honestly, what’s taking her so long? Sighing for the hundredth time he started shuffling his one foot back and forth in front of himself.
I don’t know about this. Ezza sounded hesitant.
Just come out. I’m sure it’s fine.
Ezza came out of the dressing room slowly. Zas’s eyes widened as Ezza walked out.
“How does it look?” Ezza asked embarrassment reddening her cheeks. Zas smiled, and stood up. Walking over he placed his hands on her shoulders. Leaning in he rubbed his cheek along hers until his mouth reached her ear. Ezza shivered as Zas whispered in her ear.
“You look beautiful.”
“I don’t know. This really doesn’t suit me very well. It’s not my style.” Ezza said. She really didn’t feel comfortable in the clothes or with all this shopping and the attention she was drawing from others. Zas had sprung this on her first thing in the morning. She didn’t really want to be here doing this.
“You look amazing, but if it’s not what you want, we’ll move on.” Zas said already turning to survey the store for things Ezza might like. Ezza sighed, she liked what she wore already and didn’t understand why they were doing this at all.
“Oh look at this!” Zas said dragging her over to another part of the store. The excitement on Zas’s face as he dragged Ezza around from section to section made all of it worth it for her.
Zas tried on several outfits for himself.
As he strutted around in front of her in each outfit, she would make a face which told him whether to keep it or move on to a new one. Zas tried giving his opinion on Ezza’s clothes but all his comments were ‘beautiful.’ Which didn’t help at all, so Ezza just decided for herself.
“What about these?” Zas asked Ezza. He was pointing out a new set of bottles to her.
“Zas, I can make better stuff than this.” Ezza said rolling her eyes. Zas was trying to buy her lotions and perfumes. This feels like déjà vu, Ezza thought. Zas was still trying to sell her on it, but Ezza had turned away and was looking around the store rather than listening. Her gaze fell on a set of small colourful bottles on another shelf. Moving over there, she started picking up the different bottles and looking at them.
It’s nail polish.
Zas had come and stood behind her. Her delighted gaze as she looked at them, brought a small smile to his own face.
Nail polish?
Zas nodded. He explained how it worked. Ezza decided to get a bottle and try it out. She was having difficulties trying to pick out a colour when Zas grabbed one of each and then steered her towards the check out. They had an appointment to keep.
“I’m just saying all of this wasn’t necessary.” Ezza said looking out the window of the car. They had just come from the Salon. Zas had insisted that they get new hair styles to match their new wardrobes. Although, looking at him now, she had no complaints.
“Of course it’s not necessary. It was something I wanted to do.” Zas said watching Ezza’s reaction. Ezza smiled, Zas could be so kind sometimes. She rested her head against the window, when she noticed they weren’t heading back to their neighbourhood.
“Where are we going now? Honestly, you’ve done enough for me already. Let’s go home nd watch some tv or something.” Ezza said. She loved that he thought of her, but she was exhausted.
“We are going home.” He said. Ezza gave him a curious stare. Just as she was about to say something, the car came to a stop. She startled when the door opened behind her. Turning she saw Cameron leaning on the door.
“Welcome home Pretty Baby.” He said holding out his hand to help her out of the car. Ezza placed her hand in his thoroughly confused.
Cameron lead her up to a quaint house while Zas got their things out of the car.
Inside, Zas and Cameron watched as Ezza moved from area to area looking at everything. Most of the furnishings were not theirs, but she could see their things mixed in as well.
Zas beckoned Cameron to join him outside and let Ezza get used to it all.
“Do you think she likes it?” Zas asked him.
“Judging from the look on her face, I think she does. I am good!” Cameron said gazing in through the patio doors. Zas made a humph noise.
“I helped with this you know.” Zas said. Cameron laughed a little.
“Of course you did Muffin. I just did more.” Cameron said unabashedly.
She finally arrived in a room that was to be theirs. Zas came up behind her and rested his chin on her shoulder.
“So what do you think?” He asked her, genuinely curious. He was hoping they had made right decision.
“I don’t understand. Zas, what is this?” Ezza asked.
“Ezza,” he said as he placed his hands on her hips. “I said I’d try, did I not? Welcome home Love.”

So, another huge thank you to Lisabee2 creations! You built one amazing house. I love it! It can be found on the gallery under #Lisabee2 or #MyHouseChallenge. In case you’re wondering all of the house shots are the interior of the house as it was made. It’s one of the reasons I chose it, so just a glimpse. You know where to find it.
Comments
A new house! I really like it and their new look as well. It’s only been a week since I read the previous chapter but now I am wondering if I missed something. Was a move mentioned before this?
Yeah these were the chapters I accidentally posted out of order.
