Our New Orders

This is so stupidHow many times am I going to have fix this stupid sinkHow do humans live like this!? When did I become the designated Handyman?

Gus gave the tap one more twist. That should about do it. He sighed and stepped back. He’d spent their first days on Earth doing nothing but upgrades on their dwelling to make it livable.

Join up for an incredible experience, Ha! Don’t worry, we’ll provide all the comforts you’d need to complete the misson! Sure, if living in absolute basics is considered comfort. Yeah they each had a room, but Leslie’s room was barely big enough to house a latrine, comforts my butt!

Gus could hear the other two laughing about something in the kitchen. Better go check it out. Sighing he left the bathroom hoping not to come back for a few days at least.

“So you loosened it on purpose?” Imo said starting to laugh.

“Oh yeah,” Leslie said giving a chuckle. “Well he’s been roaming around the last few days complaining about everything. I just thought I’d give him something to concentrate on.”

Imo let out a Gauff. This was the best! It reminded him of their Academy days. Loosening the sink and sabotaging it was right up Leslie’s alley. After all, in the Academy he’d been know as the King of Pranks. Imo smiled just imagining the look on Gus’s face right now.

Gus came walking into the kitchen just as Leslie went out.

“I just wanted to say-” Leslie started. Gus just pointed to his room and looked away from as he continued into the room.

“Was that really necessary?” Imo asked Gus.

“I know he did it on purpose. There’s no way that tape could’ve broken that way without help” Gus said sourly.

“Yeah but it’s what he does.” Imo said. “Especially when there’s nothing else to do.”

“That’s what I wanted to talk about. Can you check for orders again? I’ve recieved nothing so far. It’s getting vexing. Like what do they want us to do, just wander around aimlessly?” Gus sighed in frustration.

Imo left a slightly vexed Gus to go talk to Leslie, and went to his room and booted up the antiquated computer. After checking everything he could think of, he was about to turn the computer of when he got a ding. Looking at the email app again, he smiled. Better go let the guys know.

Well, it’s something to do anyways Imo thought as he opened the book infront of him. He never thought he’d be back in school again. The first time sucked enough.

“It’s not so bad. Atleast we’ll get to experience some life like a Human does.” Leslie said, he was doing his homework without complaint.

“Think Gus sees it that way?” Imo asked looking towards the Library. They’d recieved their orders, signed up for University right away, and been given assignments right away; School didn’t even start until Monday!

“I think he’ll adapt. He always does. He was complaining about being bored. We won’t be bored anymore.” Leslie said.

Gus sat inside doing the work assigned to them by the University. He was pleased. They were in University, and everyone knew what that meant! Human women! Finally, he’d get a chance to scope things out, and from all the dossiers University girls were more open and experimental. He just couldn’t wait.
